Thomas J. McDonald Jr. was a two time ABCA All-American (1983 and 1984)... CoSIDA Academic All-American (1983)... Team captain in 1983 and 1984... In just three seasons played, ranks second all-time in career batting average (.425/142-for-334), third all-time in homeruns (39), tied for ninth in RBI (114), 13th in runs scored (121)... Holds the single season batting average record with a .500 (50-for-100) batting average in 1984...  15 homeruns in 1982 were a school record... Played professionally in the San Francisco Giants organization.
