PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Pace University Women's Swimming & Diving delivered a dominant performance on Saturday night, rolling past Felician University, 203–74, in a commanding display of consistency in the pool. The Setters controlled the meet from the opening event through the final relay, winning across all disciplines and setting the tone early with standout efforts both in the water and on the boards.
Pace wasted no time establishing control as
Caroline Ranno opened the meet with a first-place finish in the 1-meter diving event, giving the Setters an immediate advantage. That momentum carried directly into the pool, where the 200 Medley Relay A team of
Eugenia Morossi,
Sophie Greko,
Kathryn Zhenilenko, and
Jean Donlevy captured first place with a time of 1:51.78 to firmly plant Pace at the top of the scoreboard.
Distance standout
Caroline McKay anchored the women's lineup throughout the meet, earning a decisive victory in the 1000 Freestyle with a time of 11:05.77 before adding sprint points later in the session. McKay followed with a win in the 50 Freestyle at 24.87 and a runner-up finish in the 100 Free at 55.00, showcasing her versatility across multiple distances.
The backstroke events belonged to Morossi, who swept both the 100 Back (57.58) and 200 Back (2:01.33) with controlled, front-running performances while also securing an NCAA Division II National Championship Qualifying B-Cut. The butterfly races were another area of strength for the Setters, as
Aryana Twist claimed first place in the 200 Butterfly, followed by a victory from Zhenilenko in the 100 Butterfly.
Pace continued to extend its lead in the middle-distance and individual medley events. Greko delivered an impressive double, winning the 500 Freestyle in 5:19.82 before later taking first in the 400 Individual Medley with a time of 4:47.28. Throughout the meet, the Setters consistently placed multiple swimmers in scoring positions, steadily widening the gap as the session progressed.
The women closed the night in emphatic fashion by capturing the 200 Freestyle Relay, putting a final exclamation point on a dominant team effort. With strong performances across every event group, Pace showcased its depth as the Setters continue to build confidence moving forward in the season.
