WORCESTER, MA - On Sunday, Pace University
Women's Swimming and Diving wrapped up the 2026 NE10 Championships with an outstanding final day performance, highlighted by conference titles, multiple A-final appearances, and a runner-up relay finish. The Setters showed depth across swimming and diving events, closing the meet with momentum and securing a strong overall team finish after four days of competition at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
Sophomore Eugenia Morossi led the charge on the final day, capturing the conference title in the 200 backstroke with a first-place finish in 2:01.64. Her victory marked one of Pace's most significant individual performances of the championships and set the tone for a strong evening session.
Senior Jean Donlevy added another key finish for the Setters, placing fourth in the 100 freestyle. Teammates Alexei Vinson and Caroline McKay also scored in the championship final, finishing seventh and eighth, respectively, showcasing Pace's sprint depth on the final night.
In the 200 breaststroke, freshman Sydney Albers placed 14th, while freshman Bridget O'Brien finished 16th, contributing important finishes in a competitive field. Freshman Kathryn Zhenilenko added another top-16 performance with a 15th-place finish in the 200 butterfly.
On the boards, sophomore Caroline Ranno delivered one of Pace's biggest highlights of the championships, winning the conference title in the 3-meter diving event with a first-place finish (317.95). She demonstrated the team's strength beyond the pool as Ranno was awarded the Northeast 10 Diver of the Meet.
The Setters closed the meet with a strong showing in the 400 freestyle relay, as the A relay of Morossi, Vinson, McKay, and Donlevy finished second overall while setting a new school record in the event. The B relay team of Sophie Greko, Sydney Albers, Kathryn Zhenilenko, and Jordan Barbosa also contributed with a 13th-place finish.
In distance competition, Kaitlyn Bonner placed 17th, and Ann Punnoose finished 19th in the 1650 freestyle, rounding out Pace's efforts in the longest event of the meet.
With several strong performances, the Setters finished 4th overall at the 2026 NE10 Championships.
