NORTH ATTLEBORO, MA. – A season defined by consistency and high-level performances on both boards led to Pace University sophomore
Caroline Ranno earning 2025-26 Northeast 10 (NE10) Conference Women's Diver of the Year honors, as announced by the conference on Wednesday.
Ranno quickly emerged as one of the top divers in the conference, delivering strong results across every meet on the schedule. She recorded 13 individual victories throughout the year, routinely finishing at the top of both the 1-meter and 3-meter events while providing steady scoring for the Blue and Gold.
Her impact was evident early in the season, as she consistently posted winning scores and swept both diving events in multiple meets. Ranno continued to build momentum as the year progressed, regularly producing top conference marks. She earned repeated recognition among the league's top performers, collecting a NE10-best five Diver of the Week awards.
That success carried into the NE10 Championships, where she turned in one of the most dominant performances of the four-day meet. Ranno claimed the 3-meter title with a score of 317.95 before closing the championships with a 1-meter victory at 351.50, completing a sweep of both events. Her efforts earned her NE10 Championships Diver of the Meet honors.
Ranno's success also contributed to Pace's rise on the national stage, as the Setters earned a No. 19 ranking in NCAA Division II in the Pro Diving Coaches Association (PDCA) rankings during the 2025-26 season.
In addition to her performances on the boards, Ranno was also recognized as an Academic All-Conference selection, highlighting her ability to balance athletic success with excellence in the classroom.
From the opening meets through the conference championships, Ranno's steady production and ability to deliver in key moments made her one of the most reliable and impactful competitors in the NE10, capping a standout sophomore campaign with the conference's top diving honor.
