MANSFIELD, MA. – On Thursday morning, the Northeast-10 (NE10) Conference announced the end of the season Swimming and Diving Award recipients with ten student-athletes honored. Representing Pace swimming and diving on the 2024-25 awards is Eugenia Morossi, who has been selected among the conference as the Rookie of the Year.

The freshman sensation impressed from the very first day she entered the pool for the Setters. The Milan, Italy native began her Setters career with three wins against Saint Michael's, and by the end of her freshman campaign, she had racked up 19 total victories in the pool.

Morossi remained undefeated in backstroke events throughout the entire regular season as she dominated the event in each one of her appearances.

At the season's conclusion, Morossi earned two gold medals at the Northeast-10 Conference Championships in the 100-yard backstroke (57.32) and the 200-yard backstroke (2:00:95).

Her stellar season earned her an invitation to the NCAA DII Swimming and Diving championships, where she represented the Blue and Gold at Indianapolis, IN.

All around, it was a freshman season to remember for Morossi as she will look to continue her strong performances in the pool during the 2025-26 season.
