PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Pace University Women's Swimming and Diving continued to make waves in its 2025–26 campaign, powering to a commanding 199–91 victory over Saint Michael's College on Sunday afternoon at the Goldstein Fitness Center pool. The win marked the Setters' second straight dual-meet triumph to open the season, showcasing the team's impressive balance and depth across all strokes and disciplines.
The Setters opened the meet with a 1–2 finish in the 200 Medley Relay, led by
Eugenia Morossi,
Sophie Greko,
Aryana Twist, and
Alexei Vinson, who took first in 1:57.88.
Morossi went on to shine individually, picking up wins in both the 200 Free (1:59.26) and 200 Back (2:07.44).
Caroline McKay swept the sprint freestyle events, capturing the 50 Free (25.46) and 100 Free (55.60).
Kathryn Zhenilenko dominated across multiple events, securing victories in the 1000 Free (11:37.18), 200 Fly (2:17.98), and 100 Fly (1:01.94) to lead the distance and butterfly group.
Senior
Sophie Greko continued her strong season, taking first in both the 100 Breast (1:12.49) and 200 IM (2:20.80), while
Caroline Ranno swept the diving events, scoring 188.25 on 1-meter and 215.03 on 3-meter.
The Setters closed out the meet with another statement win in the 200 Free Relay (1:42.77), featuring Morossi, McKay, Jeannie Donlevy, and
Jordan Barbosa.
With the victory, Pace improves to 2-0 in dual meets this season, maintaining its perfect record in dominant fashion.
The Blue and Gold will look to continue their strong start next weekend with back-to-back road meets, visiting Hunter College and the College of Staten Island on Saturday, November 1, as they continue to build momentum heading into the heart of their Northeast 10 schedule.
