WORCESTER, MA. Day two of the 2024 Northeast–10 Swim and Dive Championship has ended, and the Setters built momentum behind a first-place finish from Sean Rorke and a second place from Isabella Reyes on the diving boards.
In the 3m dive, Rorke claimed the top spot with a score of 440.70 while Greg Asayan finished in third with a score of 348.30. Isabella Reyes claimed second place in the 1m dive with a score of 393.30.
In the 500-yard freestyle Sophie Greko placed fourth (5:10:08), Jenna Pearse finished fifth (5:12:10), and Jordan Barbosa took 14th with a time of 5:32:63.
Niels Callewaert claimed a top five finish in the 200 individual medley with a time of 1:57:65.
The Blue and Gold had a strong performance in the 50-yard freestyle with Jaclyn Ambrose placing sixth (24.77), Barbosa taking eigth (25.03), Alexei Vinson 11th (25.28), and Katherine Kline claiming a top 15 finish with a time of 25.48.
Pace returns to the pool tomorrow for the 400-yard individual medley, 100-yard butterfly, 200-yard freestyle, 100-yard breaststroke, the 100-yard backstroke, 200-yard medley relay, and the 1-meter men's diving finals.
