PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. - The Pace University men's lacrosse team has been voted to finish third in the Northeast-10 Conference according to the preseason coaches' poll released on Friday. The Setters came in behind Le Moyne and Adelphi at one and two respectively.
The Blue and Gold finished fourth in the regular-season conference standings just a year ago after compiling one of their best records in recent memory. Pace registered a 13-4 mark in 2019 to mark the program's highest win total since 1999.
Pace returns a huge majority of players from its 2019 squad, including preseason All-America selection,
Daniel Lewis (Bohemia, N.Y./Connetquot). Lewis anchored the Setters' defense a year ago, leading the team with 38 caused turnovers.
The NE10 Rookie of the Year,
Louis Ragusa (Yorktown Heights, N.Y./Yorktown), is also back for the Blue and Gold. Ragusa started all of Pace's games in net in 2019, posting a 13-4 record while ranking third in the NE10 in total saves (182).

Junior
Patrick Mulcahy (West Islip, N.Y./West Islip), who made the NE10 All-Conference Third Team in 2019, and All-Rookie selection
Jake Richter (Kings Park, N.Y./West Islip) are also amongst the returners for the Blue and Gold.
