Pace Athletics Hall of Fame Podcast - Dan Mulholland

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Leading up to the 2018 Pace Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony set for April 26 at the Willow Ridge Country Club, each member of the newest class sat down for an interview with Pace Assistant Athletics Director Jim Sheehan. Today we spotlight Dan Mulholland, who began the Pace men's lacrosse team in 1983 and brought the Setters to new heights during his 16-year tenure.

The 411 on Coach Mulholland
- Led the Setters to the best season in the program's history in 1999, finishing the year 14-1 and as NE10 Conference Regular Season and Tournament Champions
- Named both the NE10 and Division II National Coach of the Year in 1999 following the team's vast success
- In 14 years as varsity coach, tallied a record of 104-77 from 1986 to 1999
- Also served as Pace's assistant football coach from 1984-93
- Before coming to Pace, played varsity lacrosse at SUNY Brockport from 1965 to 1967
- Following graduation, he spent the next decade coaching throughout high schools across Westchester County
- In 1996, the Setters went 11-3, which remains the second-best winning percentage in program history at .786
- Returned to the Pace sidelines in 2014 as a volunteer assistant coach
- Former players have described Mulholland as a player's coach, a father figure and a man with a love for the game and every player to ever suit for up him
