The Pace Athletics Hall of Fame will induct Michael Bohlander (Baseball '02), Jackie Burd (Softball '05), Jody Hill (Women's Basketball '94), Robert Kranz (Men's Basketball '68), and Dan Mulholland (Men's Lacrosse Head Coach 1983-99, Men's Lacrosse Volunteer Assistant Coach 2014-Present, Assistant Football Coach 1984-93) as the Class of 2018. Additionally, the 1999 men's lacrosse team—led by Mulholland—will be honored as Pace's Team of Distinction. The Pace Athletics Hall of Fame began in 1997, with the 2018 ceremony marking the 17th enshrined class.

The Inductees:

Michael Bohlander played four seasons on the diamond for the Setters, accumulating career totals that placed him in many categories in the program record book. Bohlander recorded 192 hits in his four-year collegiate career, ranking 11th all-time in hits. He stands second all-time in Setters history with 43 home runs and 153 RBI, while his 42 career doubles is tied for the sixth most in program history.

Establishing himself as an offensive force at the plate during his freshman campaign, Bohlander's first year numbers still rank amongst the best performances by a rookie. He hit nine doubles and five home runs in 1999, both of which tie him for the sixth-best performance by a freshman, as well as ranking seventh in first-season RBI with 27. In 2001, Bohlander tied the single-season school record and ranked eighth in the country with 17 home runs.

Bohlander was selected as the NYS Baseball Conference Player of the Week during the 2001 season and was later named to the All-Conference First Team that same year. He was an ABCA All-Region Selection in 2001 and 2002, and was selected to the NCAA Division I Independents All-Star Team during his senior year. Bohlander was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the 27th Round of the 2002 MLB Draft, and played two seasons in the White Sox Organization.

Jackie Burd was a four-year member of the Pace University softball team that compiled an impressive career resume at the plate and on the field. Burd played in 186 games, the second-highest career total in program history. She hit .335 over her four seasons with the Blue and Gold, ranking ninth all-time with 181 hits. Burd sits third all-time in program runs batted in with 115, fourth in doubles with 37, and ninth in career home runs with 14. More than just a power threat, Burd had a keen and patient eye at the dish, drawing a program-record 73 career walks. Her 101 runs scored also ranks eighth all-time in team history.

Burd had several standout single-season performances throughout her career at Pace. She had three seasons that ranked in the top-15 of single-season RBI totals, including her 42 RBI in 2003 that is the third highest single-year total. She hit 13 doubles in her senior year, tying her for the seventh-most in a year. Burd was an NFCA First Team All-Region selection in 2002, as well as a Northeast-10 All-Conference First Team selection in 2002 and 2003. The Setters reached the NE10 Championship Game in Burd's sophomore season in 2003.

Jody Hill was a member of the Pace University women's basketball team from 1990 to 1994 that established herself as a team player on the hardwood throughout her career. Hill appeared in the starting lineup in all 123 games she played in, which is still the most in program history. She also sits atop the record book in career assists (807), dishing out 117 more than any other player. Additionally, she ranks third all-time in steals with 314, while her 1,213 career points ranks 13th.

As Pace's all-time assist leader, Hill not surprisingly holds three of the top-five single-season assist records. Her 236 dishes in the 1992-93 season ranks second all-time in program history, while her 221 in 1993-94 and her 212 in 1991-92 sit third and fourth overall. Incredibly, Hill has 117 more assists than any other player in program history.

Hill helped the Setters reach historic heights during her time in the Blue and Gold. She led the Setters to the 1992-93 ECAC Division II Championship, being named Tournament MVP in the process. Hill was also a member of the 1993-94 Setters team that made a postseason run into the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament. Her contributions to the historic team earned her Female Athlete of the Year and an NYCAC All-Star selection in 1994.

Robert Kranz played for the Setters from 1964 to 1967 and was a leadership figure for the Pace men's basketball teams of the mid to late '60s. Kranz currently sits 11th all-time with 1,282 career points, and graduated from Pace as the program's second all-time scorer. Across the 67 games he played in his three-year career, Kranz averaged 19.1 points per game.

After helping lead the Setters to a Knickerbocker Conference title and a postseason tournament appearance in the 1964-65 season with 14.9 points per game, Kranz had the best season of his career the next year. He averaged a team-best 24.1 points per game in 1965-66, including a then-school record of 50 points against Stevens on January 17, 1966. Kranz led the conference in scoring that season en route to being named the Knickerbocker Conference MVP.

Kranz captained the team during the 1966-67 season, finishing his senior year as the team's second leading scorer with 19.3 points per contest, and was an All-Knickerbocker selection in each of his three seasons. Teammates have described Kranz as an intelligent player, a devoted teammate, and a leader on and off the court.

Dan Mulholland has represented Pace men's lacrosse for more than 20 years. After starting the program in 1983 and moving the team to varsity in 1986, Mulholland has been a father figure of the Pace lacrosse team to every player to come through the program during his tenure. In 14 years as a varsity coach, Mulholland earned a record of 104-77 from 1986 to 1999.

Before coming to Pace, Mulholland played varsity lacrosse at SUNY Brockport from 1965 to 1967. Following graduation, he spent the next decade coaching throughout high schools across Westchester County. Mulholland oversaw players at Yorktown, Ardsley, Sleepy Hollow, and Peekskill High Schools from 1970 to 1982.

The Setters showed success under Mulholland during his entire coaching tenure, winning six or more games every season from 1989 to 1999. In 1996, the Setters went 11-3 under Mulholland, which remains the second-best winning percentage in program history at .786. Pace compiled a 10-game win streak that season, outscoring opponents 181-98 over the course of the year. Two years later, Mulholland coached the 1998 team to an NE10 regular season championship, finishing 10-5 overall. The 1998 Setters scored almost 100 more goals than the opposition (223-129), and won eight games by ten or more goals.

The following year, Mulholland led the Setters to the best season in the program's history, finishing the year 14-1 and as NE10 Conference Regular Season and Tournament Champions. The Setters were ranked No. 1 in the nation throughout most of the season and became the first Pace team to defeat a ranked opponent. Pace ended the 1999 season ranked No. 3 in the country, and featured six NE10 All-Conference Players and three future Pace Hall of Famers. Mulholland was named both NE10 and Division II National Coach of the Year in 1999 following the team's vast success.

Mulholland returned to the Pace sidelines in 2014 as a volunteer assistant coach. Former players have described Mulholland as a player's coach, a father figure and a man with a love for the game and every player to ever suit for up him.

Team of Distinction – 1999 Pace Men's Lacrosse
The most successful team in program history, the 1999 Setters ended the year with a 14-1 record as Northeast-10 Conference regular season and tournament champions. In Dan Mulholland's 14th season leading the team as head coach, the Setters were ranked No. 1 in the nation for a majority of the season, ultimately ending the year slotted No. 3 in the country. The team picked up the first win in program history over a top-five ranked opponent, defeating No. 3 NYIT, 20-10, on March 17. Pace dominated conference play, winning all but one NE10 game by seven or more goals. Coach Mulholland was named both the NE10 and Division II National Coach of the Year for elevating the program to new heights.

The 1999 team has left their mark all over the program record book with their historic season. The team holds the records for wins in a season (14), consecutive wins (11), and fewest goals allowed (94). Pace's all-time leading scorer Andrew Wasik set career highs in his sophomore season in 1999, setting the program record for most goals (72) and points (101) in a season, as well as tying the team record for most goals in a game with 11 against Saint Anselm in the NE10 Tournament.

The team featured four future Pace Athletics Hall of Famers: Wasik, Marcus Mayus, Joe Vuotto, and Luke Hirten. Beyond leading the team in scoring, Wasik was named Division II Attackmen of the Year after leading the country in points and goals, as well as an All-American and NE10 First Teamer. Mayus, the 1999 Division II Midfielder of the Year, was also selected to the All-American and NE-10 First Teams, as well as Pace's Male Athlete of the Year. Vuotto earned an All-America Honorable Mention and was named the NE10 First-Team goalie following his season of leading Division II in goals-against average and save percentage. Hirten also earned USILA All-America honors, in addition to being named the NE10 Defenseman of the Year. Chris Stanley and Gianni Abballe were also selected to NE10 All-Conference teams.
