GARDEN CITY, N.Y. - Prior to their upcoming Northeast-10 Conference matchup on Tuesday, April 11, the Pace University men's lacrosse team will be working in conjunction with the Adelphi University men lacrosse team to host a pre-game clinic in honor of Down syndrome awareness. There will be no admission charge for the NE10 event, however donations will be accepted at the door and throughout the game with all proceeds benefiting the
Down Syndrome Advocacy Foundation (DSAF). DSAF is dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with Down syndrome through advocacy and supporting inclusion within schools, communities, and the work place.
The Nassau County Police Activity League (
NCPAL) Knights and the Garden City Athletic Association (GCAA) Challengers will be bringing their players to participate in a pre-game clinic as well as a ceremonial coin toss prior to the start of the 7 p.m. contest featuring the Panthers and the Setters.
