NORTHBOROUGH, MA. – Pace University senior defender
Alyssa Wolf has been selected as the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division II Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the organization on Tuesday afternoon. The recognition marks the first IWLCA weekly honor for the Setters during the 2026 season.
The Brookhaven, N.Y. native played a pivotal role in Pace's victory over Kutztown, delivering a disruptive defensive performance that shifted the momentum of the game. Wolf finished with four caused turnovers and three ground balls, repeatedly stepping into passing lanes and breaking up scoring opportunities.
The national honor shows Wolf's leadership and impact on the defensive end while highlighting the Setters' early-season momentum. With the first IWLCA recognition of 2026 secured, Pace continues to establish itself on both the conference and national stage.
