COLORADO SPRINGS, CO. – The Pace University Field Hockey program has been recognized as an NFHCA Division II National Academic Team for the 2025 season, continuing a remarkable streak of academic excellence for the Blue and Gold. This marks the 11th consecutive year the Setters have earned the distinction, as announced today by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association.
The National Academic Team Award recognizes programs that earned a team grade-point average of 3.5 or higher during the fall semester of the current academic year. Pace once again exceeded expectations, posting an outstanding 3.733 team GPA, which ranks number one among Division II programs, reflecting exceptional academic performance throughout the roster during the 2025 academic year.
Through a sustained commitment to academic achievement under head coach
Kayte Biordi, the Setters have built a culture that emphasizes success in the classroom as strongly as on the field.
This most recent honor continues a tradition of excellence that began with the program's first recognition more than a decade ago, and it positions Pace among the nation's most academically distinguished Division II field hockey programs.
