NORTH ATTLEBORO, MA. – Pace University Field Hockey was well-represented in the Northeast 10 (NE10) Conference postseason awards, as four Setters earned All-Conference honors, announced on Thursday afternoon. Senior midfielders
Kyleigh Kearney and
Sydney Sims, senior defender
Molly Paterson, and freshman midfielder
Feline Rook were all selected to the NE10 Second Team, with Rook additionally being named to the NE10 All-Rookie Team.
A veteran presence in the midfield, Kearney delivered the best offensive season of her career while starting all 19 contests. She finished with 9 goals, 5 assists, and 23 points, which ranked among the team's top scorers and one of the highest-producing midfielders in the conference. Kearney recorded two game-winning goals and turned in standout performances throughout the fall, including a four-goal, eight-point effort at St. Thomas Aquinas on Oct. 7. She also contributed defensively with 934 minutes and two defensive saves, helping Pace remain one of the NE10's most competitive units end to end.
Paterson capped her Pace career by starting all 19 games and serving as the backbone of the Setters' defensive structure. She led all field players with 1,154 minutes played while organizing the back line and disrupting opposing attacks. Though her contributions were primarily defensive, Paterson totaled one goal and one assist, scoring against Roberts Wesleyan on Oct. 4 and adding an assist in a road win at Franklin Pierce.
Sims earned Second-Team honors after an impactful season on both ends of the field. Starting all 19 games, she finished with 5 goals and 1 assist for 11 points, including three game-winning goals against Molloy, Roberts Wesleyan, and Franklin Pierce. Sims registered 19 shots on goal and played more than 1,050 minutes, consistently driving play through the midfield while providing leadership in her final season in Blue and Gold.
Rook emerged as one of the NE10's top newcomers, earning both Second-Team and All-Rookie Team recognition. Rook appeared in all 19 games with 18 starts and finished her debut season with 7 goals, 5 assists, and 19 points. She led the Setters with 76 shots and was a constant attacking threat, highlighted by a two-goal, one-assist performance against Saint Michael's on Oct. 25. Logging 910 minutes in her first collegiate season, Rook quickly became a key playmaker in the midfield.
Together, Kearney, Paterson, Sims, and Rook helped define a competitive and resilient 2025 season for the Setters, combining veteran leadership and emerging talent to keep Pace among the NE10's most efficient programs.
