PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – On Saturday afternoon, Pace University Men's Swimming & Diving delivered a decisive performance, overwhelming Felician University, 201.5–64.5, in a meet that showcased the Setters' versatility across every event group. From the opening relay through the final race, Pace dictated the pace of competition and steadily widened the margin throughout the night.
The Setters made an immediate statement in the 200 Medley Relay, as the A group of
Javier Cisternas-Gomez,
Melo Meir,
Gregory Farnum, and
Morgon Washington-Patterson powered to first place with a winning time of 1:38.11. That early advantage continued on the boards, where
Adem Ozkurt delivered a sweep of the men's 1-meter diving events, providing a strong point total and reinforcing Pace's early control.
Pace's sprint group continued to apply pressure in the freestyle events, led by
Morgon Washington-Patterson. He captured top honors in the 200 Freestyle with a time of 1:48.02 before winning the 100 Freestyle in 48.00, adding to an already strong relay presence throughout the meet.
The Setters maintained their momentum in the backstroke races, with Javier Cisternas Gomez taking the 100 Back at 54.06, followed by a victory from Farnum in the 200 Back at 2:04.15. Breaststroke events proved equally productive, as Meir secured wins in both the 100 Breast (59.12) and 200 Breast (2:14.52), continuing to stack points for Pace.
Distance races further separated the Setters from Felician, highlighted by

The individual medley events closed the scoring surge, as Farnum claimed the top spot in the 400 Individual Medley, with Meir following closely behind in second.
The night concluded with another Pace victory in the 200 Freestyle Relay, sealing a comprehensive team win. With consistent scoring and strong performances across the lineup, the Setters closed the meet with confidence heading into the next phase of the season.
The Setters return to the pool next Sunday at 3:00 p.m. for a Senior Day meet against Bentley University.
