WORCESTER, MA - The Northeast 10 Conference Championships continued Friday evening at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, as the Men's Swimming and Diving program built on its opening-night momentum with strong performances. Behind scoring swims in both individual and relay events, the Setters strengthened their position in the team standings heading into the final two days of competition in Worcester.
The Setters continued building points across multiple events Friday night.
Javier Cisternas-Gomez led the way individually, finishing 14th in the 200 IM.
Jordyn Cristoff-Gonzalez added points in the 50 Freestyle placing 14th.
In relays, the 200 Freestyle Relay A team of Cristoff-Gonzalez, Tat, Domenech, and Farnum placed eighth, with the B relay of Butryn, Veidis, Ensuncho, and Breeden finished 15th. In the 400 Medley Relay, the Setters A Squad of Cisternas-Gomez, Meir, Farnum, Cristoff-Gonzalez finished 4th while the B-Relay finished 17th.
Pace Men sit 7th overall after Day 2. The Setters head into the weekend sessions positioned to continue climbing as the championship progresses in Worcester.
