PLEASANTVILLE, NY - Following a historic 2024–25 season, Pace Men's Basketball and head coach
Matt Healing are set to face Division I Syracuse University in an exhibition match ahead of the 2025–26 season tip-off.
The two teams previously met in another exhibition contest on
Oct. 27, 2021.
Game Information:
The contest will be played at the JMA Wireless Dome in Syracuse, NY on Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2025; time is to be announced.
Syracuse:
The Orange are led by Adrian Autry, who has been at the helm of the program following the completion of the 2022-23 season. Syracuse ended their previous year with a 14-19 overall record, went 7-13 in conference play, and made an appearance in the second round of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Tournament.
Pace:
Pace wrapped up a record-breaking season, starting the year with an undefeated 13-0 run—the most consecutive wins to open a season in program history. They finished with a 24-8 overall record and a 14-6 mark in Northeast 10 (NE10) play. The Blue and Gold made their first-ever appearance in the NE10 Championship and returned to the NCAA East Regional Tournament. To top it off, they achieved the highest national ranking in program history, climbing to No. 7 in the Week 6 (Dec. 31) poll.
