PLEASANTVILLE, NY - Even with Pace Men's Basketball being wrapped up for their playing season, the standout guard,
Tray Alexander, continues to rake in accolades as the Northeast-10 (NE10) Conference announces their Academic Sport Excellence awards and Alexander is selected to represent men's basketball.
With a 4.0 grade point average in his graduate studies, the All-American has been recognized for his efforts off the hardwood as being a NE10 Academic All-Conference selection and now being the conference men's basketball representative for the Sport Excellence award. He will be departing from Pace with a degree in Data Science from the Seidenberg School of CSIS.
Let's take a look into his final season representing the Blue and Gold. He set the record for the most assists in a single season with 277 while being ranked second in all of Division II with an average of 8.7; he also bumped himself to second all-time in the record books with a career total of 479 assists. He led the team with 16.2 points per game while recording 1.2 steals per game and became the first Pace Men's Basketball student-athlete to achieve the NE10 Player of the Year honors.
