WALTHAM, MA. – Pace men's swimming and diving wrapped up their 2024-25 regular season Sunday afternoon versus Bentley University. In the road meet, the Setters were defeated 187-77 concluding their regular season with a 2-7 overall record.
The men started the meet with a second-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay. The tandem consisting of
Michael Ferstler,
Niels Callewaert,
Santiago Domenech, and
Owen Butryn out-touched the Falcon's second relay by four one-hundredths of a second (1:41.79).
Ferstler continued his strong meet finishing third in the 100-yard Backstroke with a time of 56.85. The junior also had an impressive comeback in the 200-yard backstroke event winning with a time of 1:59.20.
Niels Callewaert wrapped up his 2024-25 regular season by finishing second in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:02.57.
The dive captain,
Greg Asayan, finished second on the 1M board (199.05), and first on the 3M board (201.83).
With the regular season in the rear view mirror, men's swimming and diving looks ahead to the Northeast-10 Conference Championships, which kicks off on Feb. 13.
