PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Wednesday morning, the Northeast-10 Conference announced their Preseason Coaches' Poll for field hockey. With the 2024 season just around the corner, Pace ranks third in the Northeast-10 after receiving 139 points.

Pace has several key members of the squad returning such as NFHCA (National Field Hockey Coaches Association) East Region Player of the Year and First Team All-American Krista Dietz. In 2023, the Mahopac, N.Y. native solidified herself as one of the top offensive threats in the nation producing 62 total points (24 goals, and 14 assists). Celeste Pagliaroli returns in net following a stellar freshman season that earned her Third Team All-NE10. Aside from returning athletes, field hockey has eight newcomers to the squad for 2024.

Coming off a first-round appearance in the NCAA Division II Tournament the Setters will look to build upon their strong 2023 season. The Blue and Gold will open the season against Bloomsburg University on Sept. 5th at 3 pm at Peter X. Finnerty Field.
