WORCESTER, MA. -- The 2024 Northeast 10 Swimming and Diving Championships are in the books and the Pace University swim and dive teams finished in fourth on the women's side and seventh on the men's.
The ladies just missed the podium, finishing with 476 points, being overtaken by Assumption University who garnered 483 points.
Multiple Setters qualified out of the prelims in the morning session, allowing them spots in the pool in the finals this evening.Â
In the 200-yard backstroke,
Alaire Thomas finished in 11 with a time of 2:20.76 while
Paulina Pereira earned 13th with a time of 2:25.95.
Five Setters made it to the 100-yard freestyle.Â
Jaclyn Ambrose led the pack with a fifth-place mark of 53.56.
Jean Donlevy finished in an even 54 seconds for eighth.

Katherine Kline (54.86) and
Jordan Barbosa (54.92) finished in 12th through 14th.
Neils Callewaert earned a bronze medal in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:07.95.
In the 200-yard butterfly,
Jenna Pearse earned sixth with a mark of 2:13.24.Â
Krishna Alexander Adapa competed in the sane event and slotted in 12th with a time of 2:02.54.
Returning to the boards,
Isabella Reyes earned a silver medal in the 3-meter with a score of 387.55.Â
The 400-yard freestyle relay team of
Sophie Greko, Donlevy, Pearse and Ambrose set the school record in the event, earning a silver medal with a time of 3:33.71.
While he did not compete today, after sweeping both boards,
Sean Rorke was named Diver of the Meet for the second year in a row.
The season does not end here for certain members of the team who will go onto either NCAA Qualifying Meets or the NCAA Championships.
