After finishing the regular season with a perfect 12-0 record in the NE10, Pace went all the way to the NE10 Championship game before falling just short to Le Moyne College. The Setters then picked up two victories in the NCAA East Regional over the University of New Haven and Adelphi University to punch their ticket to Indy.
