KINGS POINT, N.Y. – The Pace University swim and dive teams returned to the pool on Saturday to compete in the United States Merchant Marine Academy Invitational.
Sophie Greko continued her strong season, winning the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:17.44.
Rose Clark finished 12
th in the same event with a time of 2:31.34.
In the 100-yard freestyle,
Jean Donlevy took home fifth place with a time of 57.21.
Alexei Vinson and
Katherine Kline finished in sixth and seventh with times of 57.50 and 57.55.
Jordan Barbosa brought home ninth, finishing in 57.69.
Alaire Thomas clocked in a time of 1:06.91 in the 100-yard backstroke, which was good for 1:06.91. In the men's event,
Chaz Lee Johnson finished in sixth with a time of 1:06.32.
Jenna Pearse won the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:14.20.
Isaac Sanchez finished in 10
th win the same event with a time of 2:08.01. Pearse also finished sixth in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 26.18, while Grecko and Vinson brought home eighth and ninth with marks of 26.30 and 26.37.
Pearse also finished second in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:59.53. Grecko was right behind her in fourth with a mark of 2:03.88. Donlevy finished sixth, finishing the race in 2:04.98.
Thomas finished in fifth in the 200-yard backstroke, finishing in 2:26.17. Clark finished second in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:34.33.
