MANAHAWKIN, NJ – The accolades keep rolling in for
Krista Dietz of the Pace University Field Hockey team, who has been named the Offensive Player of the Week by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association, the organization announced on Wednesday.
Earlier in the week, the junior forward was named Northeast 10 Player of the Week.
Last week, both the University of New Haven and American International College as Dietz finished the week with an impressive seven goals and two assists for a total of 16 points.
She opened the week with five goals against UNH, the five goals are the most by any NCAA Division II player this season. She followed it up with another two goals against the Yellow Jackets over the weekend.
On the year, Dietz currently leads the nation in goals (21) assists (12) and points per game (3.38).
The Setters return to action over the weekend to close out the regular season at Bentley.
