PLEASANTVILE, N.Y. – The Setter men's swim team earned a decisive win in the pool on Saturday afternoon defeating Lehman 205.00 to 45.00 at the Goldstein Fitness Center.

(Javi Ferstler, Chaz Johnson, Samuel Gibson (Nassau, Bahamas/Saint Andrew's) and Owen Butryn (New Hampton, N.Y./Goshen)) defeated Lehamn's team with a time of 1:42.75 for the first race event win of the day.
Gibson, a grad student, had three event wins in the meet with additional victories in the 50-yard butterfly race (25.14) and 100-yard freestyle (51.40). He also came in second 100-yard butterfly (57.13).
Junior
Tyler Besnoff (Lititz, Pa./Manheim Township) won the 500-yard freestyle in 5:11.73, the lone swimmer in the event. Besnoff scored his second individual victory of the meet in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:09.19.
Sophomore Ferstler earned his second event win of the meet in the 200-yard freestyle, racing to a 1:55.35 finish. He also finished second in the 50-yard (28.37) and the 100-yard backstroke (56.89) behind Lehman's Hallester Jimenez in both races.
Sophomore Rob Gehman won two races with a 29.09 time in the 50-yard breaststroke and a 1:02.77 finish in the 100-yard breaststroke.
Burtryn, a freshman, also scored an individual win with a 23.43 swim in the 50-yard freestyle. He also was the lead swimmer in the winning 400-yard freestyle relay along with freshmen
Nick Harrelson (Farmington, N.M./Farmington) and
Austin Hyer (Newburyport, Mass./Newburyport) and Besnoff.
Diver
Sean Rorke (Smithtown, N.Y./Hauppauge) won both the 1-meter and 3-meter competitions. Earning the first points of the meet for the Setters with a 255.15 point finish on the lower board. In the 3-meter competition, he finished with a score of 192.67.
The Pace swimming and diving team will be back in action in the Setters' home pool against Adelphi on Friday, Oct. 28. The dual meet will start at 2 p.m.
