Women's Lacrosse Ranked No. 18 in IWLCA's Preseason National Poll

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – With the start of the season less than a month away, the Pace University women's lacrosse team has been ranked 18th in the IWLCA's Preseason Coaches' Poll released on Monday.

The Setters are coming off an 11-win campaign last spring, and head into the new year with terrific momentum following a strong end to 2019. Pace won its last seven games of last year's regular season to finish as the No. 3 seed in the NE10 Tournament.

The Blue and Gold return 20 players from that 2019 team, including NE10 All-Conference performers, Mary Kate Lonegan (Brewster, N.Y./Brewster) and Kayla Conway (Wantagh, N.Y./Wantagh). Lonegan was selected to the league's Second Team, while Conway was named the NE10 Rookie of the Year.

Sophomore goalkeeper Sienna Masullo (Mount Sinai, N.Y./Mount Sinai School District) will also be back for the Blue and Gold after starting all 18 games in net last season.
