PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Following his standout two-year career with the Pace University men's basketball team, Greg Poleon (Brooklyn, N.Y./Abraham Lincoln / Coffeyville CC) ('19) has signed on to play professionally for the Hemel Storm of the United Kingdom.

The Storm compete in National Basketball League Division 1 and play their home games at the Everyone Active Hemel Hempstead Sports Centre in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire.

"I am very excited to begin my professional career with the Hemel Storm in the United Kingdom," said Poleon. "Playing professionally has always been a goal of mine and I am extremely grateful for this opportunity. I want to thank my family for their continued support as well as Coach Healing for bringing me into the Pace Basketball program. The entire Pace community welcomed me with open arms and I look forward to making all my family, coaches, teammates and supporters very proud!"

Poleon, who served as team captain for the Setters this past season, was a versatile player for the Blue and Gold over the last two years. He posted career averages of 11.5 points and 6.2 rebounds per game while also leading the team in field-goal percentage and blocked shots during each of the last two seasons. This past year, he reached double figures in 22 games while grabbing at least eight rebounds on 10 occasions. Poleon played a key role in helping Pace return to the Northeast-10 Conference playoffs in 2018-19.
