Jana Ciric Earns Second Straight NE10 Swimming Sport Excellence Award

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – A day after being named to the Academic All-Conference Team, junior Jana Ciric (Nis, Serbia/Gimnazija "Svetozar Markovic") was selected as the NE10's Swimming and Diving Sport Excellence Award winner for the second straight year.

Ciric, a computer science major with a cumulative GPA of 3.98, has already put together a sensational career in just three seasons with the Blue and Gold. Most recently, she took home five medals from the 2019 NE10 Championships. Ciric's terrific conference meet was highlighted by a gold-medal swim in the 200-free. She also picked up five NE10 medals as a sophomore, in addition to being a part of four program-record breaking relay teams. Ciric owns a total of six Pace school records, including individual marks in the 100 and 200 free.

She was twice named the NE10's Swimmer of the Week earlier this season while also being a four-time Women's Relay of the Week honoree.
