PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – In their final meet of the semester, the Pace University men's swimming and diving team was defeated by Saint Peter's on Saturday by a score of 136-89.
Sophomore diver
Patrick Dwyer's (Tomkins Cove, N.Y./North Rockland) top score in the three-meter served as the highlight of the day for the Setters. The Tomkins Cove, N.Y. native posted an NCAA qualifying mark of 325.13. Dwyer also earned a score of 219.38 in the one-meter to sweep both diving events.

Junior
Filip Turecky (State College, Pa./State College Area) put forth a solid afternoon of his own versus the Peacocks. The Pennsylvania native touched the wall first in the 100-back with a mark of 54.20. He also placed second in the 200-free, coming in at 1:47.28.
Joshua Lozano (Helotes, Texas/O'Connor) also earned an individual win on Saturday, posting a top time of 10:10.12 in the 1000-free.

In one of the closest finishes of the day, sophomore
Samuel Gibson (Nassau, Bahamas/Saint Andrew's) placed second in the 100-fly (55.05). Gibson also posted a third-place effort in the 50-free, clocking a time of 23.87.

The Setters will return to action in 2020 when they host Senior Day on Jan. 11 against Saint Rose (2:30 p.m.).
