PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – The Pace University field hockey team maintained the top slot in the latest edition of the NCAA Division II East Regional Rankings, being voted No. 1 in the rankings released on Wednesday. The Setters have held the top ranking in both installments of the Regional Rankings released this season.
Pace ended the regular season with the best record in program history, going 17-1 to head into the Northeast-10 Conference Tournament. The Setters earned the team's first regular-season title after defeating No. 9 Stonehill in the regular-season finale on Nov. 6, heading into the postseason with a 14-game win streak. Pace fell to Assumption in the quarterfinals of the NE10 Championship Tournament 1-0 on Tuesday.
Following the historic season in Pleasantville,
six members of the Blue and Gold roster were selected to NE10 All-Conference teams. The Setters also nabbed a pair of major NE10 awards, as

Kayte Kinsley was awarded Coach of the Year.
Henderson sits atop the nation with a 0.72 goals-against average, allowing just 13 goals throughout the season. Henderson and the Setters backline have shut down opposing offenses all year long, ranking second in all of Division II with a team goals-allowed average of 0.83 on the season.
