PLEASANTVILLE, NY – The Setters return to action this Saturday for a game against Northeast-10 rival Saint Anselm at noon. Pace last played on Saturday, March 14
th when they were defeated on the road by Merrimack, 14-4. Following the loss, the Setters stand at 2-2, 0-1 NE-10.

After falling behind 2-0 in the first quarter, the Setters got things going in the second as freshman sensation
Wyatt Barfoot found the back of the net to cut the deficit to just one. Six minutes later, following a pair of Merrimack scores, Barfoot again found twine for the ninth time this season to force action to 4-2 heading into halftime.
Merrimack opened the scoring in the second half with a goal just four minutes in, but junior
Matt Ruquet answered for the Setters when he found the back of the net for the first time this season. Sophomore
Brandon Donnellan added a goal midway through the third quarter, but the Warriors closed out the period on a 4-1 rally to take a 9-4 lead into the fourth. After Pace failed to get on the board in the final quarter, Merrimack was able to defeat the Setters, 14-4.
Barfoot led the Setters with two goals while adding one groundball. Ruquet added five groundballs to his one goal while going 12-18 (66%) on the draw. Donnellan added two groundballs and two caused turnovers to his score while
Tyler Meigel and
Anthony Gadaleta each recorded assists.
Michael Bonitatibus played all 60 minutes in net and saved 18 shots while allowing 14 goals.
The Setters:- Barfoot leads the team while ranking 12th in the Northeast-10 Conference with nine goals. His 16 points also leads the Setters and ranks sixth in the NE-10.
- Meigel is second on the team in goals, totaling seven which ranks him 19th in the conference.
- Junior Matthew Cossidente has scored five goals with one assist and three groundballs so far this year.
- Ruquet has scored one goal and recorded one assist while leading the team with 23 groundballs in addition to ranking fourth in the NE-10 with 46 faceoff victories.
- Donnellan has tallied one score while adding 16 groundballs and a team-best eight caused turnovers.
- Bonitatibus has recorded 50 saves while compiling a 2-2 record in four games of action this season.
The Hawks:- Saint Anselm stands at 0-3, 0-1 NE-10 after falling at home to Adelphi on Saturday.
- Senior midfielder James Peters leads the Hawks with four goals while adding three groundballs.
- Junior attacker Ben Warren has scored a pair of goals with five groundballs and five caused turnovers.
- Junior goaltender James O'Neill has played the majority of minutes in net for the Hawks, compiling an 0-1 record with 23 saves and 28 goals allowed.
