PLEASANTVILLE, NY – On Thursday afternoon, the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) released their 2025 All-Americans with Pace Men's Lacrosse having four players receive the honors in respective positions.
Daniel Zabbia and
James Mantione receive Third Team recognition with Zabbia sitting in the attack position and Mantione as a SSDM while
Chris Butler (Def.) and
Will Danowski (Mid.) receive an Honorable Mention.
The past two seasons, Zabbia claimed an Honorable Mention from the USILA and today, after leading the team with 44 points, on 35 goals and nine assists, he has placed on the Third Team All-American list. The senior attack recorded three game winners, 25 ground balls, and two caused turnovers in the process. Mantione, who claimed his first All-American notion, led the team with 52 ground balls this year while forcing 16 turnovers. The SSDM made his mark on the offensive end with five points on four goals and one assist.
Butler was the Setters' lead defender this season when he recorded 30 caused turnovers and snagged 29 ground balls. Additionally, he posted two assists, one being recorded versus Adelphi (4/15) and Southern New Hampshire (4/19). Danowski was second on the team throughout the campaign with 70 shots and caged 22 of them. With 14 helpers, the newcomer posted 36 points along with 15 ground balls.
The USILA also announced on Thursday their DI/II Senior All-Star Rosters with three players representing the Blue and Gold on the North, Zabbia,
Jackson Bulger and
Branden Tello. The game will be held at Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI tomorrow, Friday May 23, at 6:30 p.m.
