Pace Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse Featured on USA Lacrosse All-American List

PLEASANTVILLE, NY – Friday morning, USA Lacrosse released their DII 2025 All-American lists with both Pace Men's and Women's Lacrosse mentioned throughout in respective team placements.

USA Lacrosse All-Americans are selected by staff and contributors.

Both squads for Pace have been nationally ranked consistently throughout this year's campaigns and Women's Lacrosse continues their season in the NCAA Quarterfinal round tomorrow, May 17, in Garden City, N.Y. See end of the release for game information.

With 35 schools recognized in the Men's USA Lacrosse All-American List, attackmen of Daniel Zabbia and Will Danowski have been given an All-American Honorable Mention for their successes this season. Zabbia led the team with 44 points (35G, 9A) and Danowski finished third with 36 points on 22 goals and 14 assists.

Women's Lacrosse had 36 schools mentioned in their release and the Lady Setters posted four from Second Team to Honorable Mention. Sasha Kulo, who has been dominating in the draws, is the All-American Second Team while Nikki Mottes is Third Team. Mackenzie Carita and Annie Sheehan were given an All-American Honorable Mention. Kulo sits sixth in all of Division II with 7.48 draws per game while recording a record breaking 20 draws in the win over Bentley on Apr. 19. Mottes is a point collector for the squad as she leads the team with 99 (36G, 63A) and broke the points in a game record with 11 in the win over Seton Hill on Mar. 1.

Carita and Sheehan have led the charge on the offensive end for the Blue and Gold. Carita sits first on the team after caging 72 goals and Sheehan collectively fills the statistics sheet with 39 goals, 22 assists (61 points), 31 ground balls, 28 draw controls and 21 caused turnovers.

Women's Lacrosse will be competing in the NCAA Quarterfinal round versus Northeast-10 (NE10) opponent, Adelphi University on Saturday, May 17, in Garden City, N.Y. at 3:00 p.m. The two teams met twice so far this year with the series split 1-1 after the Setters secured the 16-12 regular season win and Adelphi capturing the NE10 title over the top-seed Setters, 16-13.
