Box Score ALBANY, NY – The Pace University men's basketball team made the trip up the Thruway as they faced off against the Saint Rose Golden Knights. Pace was upended 84-54 in their Northeast-10 Conference opener.
Pace (0-3, 0-1 NE-10) was led by sophomore Nick Jackson (Brooklyn, NY/Boys and Girls) (Brooklyn, NY/Boys and Girls) who scored 14 points and grabbed nine rebounds. Fellow sophomore Jaylen Mann (Youngstown, OH/Liberty) contributed with 12 points, frou rebounds and four assists.
The Setters played the Golden Knights (3-2, 1-0 NE-10) nearly even in the second half while hitting on 12-of-29 (41.4%) from the floor. Jackson claimed seven of his points in the second half along with six of his rebounds.
The Setters are back home on Saturday when they face off against the New Haven Chargers in an NE-10 match at 3:30 pm.
