Steven Martinez (Bronx, NY/Archbishop Stepinac) hit an RBI single up the middle next followed by a single that went through the right side by Joe Lombardi (Briarcliff, NY/Briarcliff) (Briarcliff, NY/Briarcliff). Next at the dish was Kenny Wright (Middle Island, NY/Longwood) who singled to right field driving in Martinez. Tyler Collins (Stamford, CT/Trinity Catholic) then singled to left field which loaded the bases. With runners in scoring position James Pjura (Shelton, CT/Shelton) (Shleton, CT/Shelton) hit a tremendous double to center field scoring Wright and Lombardi. Later in the inning Glen Johnson (Hobe Sound, FL/South Fork) hit a sacrifice fly to right field that allowed Collins to score and put Pace up by three runs, 6-3.

In the bottom of the eighth Pace would tack another run onto their lead from one hit and two errors finishing the game on top 7-3.
