WORCESTER, Mass.- The Pace Lacrosse team dropped their Northeast-10 Conference opener 13-1 to Assumption College. The Setters fall to 3-1 and 0-1 in the NE-10, while the Greyhounds improve 5-0 and 1-0 in conference play.

The Setters struggled offensively all game with their lone goal of the day coming in the final period as William Scioscia (Somerset, NJ/Immaculata) (Somerset, NJ/Immaculata) picked up a ground ball off a missed shot to net a man-up score with 10:26 left in the game.

In net, Kevin Grady (Medford, NY/Bellport) (Medford, NY/Bellport) played just over 37 minutes, recording three saves to fall to 3-1 on the season. Alex Cain (Rocky Point, NY/Rocky Point) came on in relief, playing the final 22 minutes and posted four saves.

The Setters return to action on Wednesday, March 23 when Pace will travel to Mercy College for a non-conference game at 3 pm.
