PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Pace University Esports VALORANT Gold added another championship moment to its standout season, capturing the New York City Collegiate Esports Circuit title and earning the title of Kings of NYC at the Video Game Festival at Brookfield Place.

After qualifying for the main event with a strong performance earlier in the circuit, the Setters opened championship play against City College of New York in a competitive three-map series. Pace battled through the early test and came away with a 2-1 victory, advancing to the final round with momentum.

The Blue and Gold elevated their play as the event progressed, turning in one of their strongest performances of the day in the grand final against Baruch College. Pace controlled the championship match-up from start to finish, sweeping Baruch 2-0 to secure the Kings of NYC crown.

The event brought together top collegiate esports programs from across the city and was supported by several major partners, including the Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment, Red Bull, ASUS ROG, and more.

With the win, Pace VALORANT Gold continued to build on an impressive run across multiple competitions, adding a New York City title to a season already filled with postseason success and national-stage performances.
