LOUISVILLE, KY. – Announced Friday at noon,
Will Danowski and
Chris Butler were selected to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Division II Preseason All-America Team representing Pace University Men's Lacrosse.
Danowski earned preseason All-America Third-Team honors following a highly productive 2025 season in which he emerged as one of Pace's top offensive weapons. Appearing in 11 games, he totaled 22 goals and 14 assists for 36 points, leading the Setters in scoring while showcasing efficiency and versatility in the attacking third. Danowski registered 70 shots, with more than half on goal, and added multiple man-up tallies while consistently creating opportunities for himself and his teammates.
Butler was also recognized on the preseason All-America Third-Team after anchoring the Setters' defense throughout the 2025 campaign. Starting all 16 games, he played a central role in Pace's defensive success, collecting 29 ground balls and forcing 30 caused turnovers. Butler's ability to disrupt opposing offenses, win possession battles, and lead the back line proved instrumental in Pace's success across conference and postseason play.
The preseason All-America selections highlight Pace's continued ascent on the national stage and follow another strong season. With Danowski and Butler earning national recognition, Pace enters the 2026 season positioned among Division II's elite programs.
