MANSFIELD, MA. – Announced on Monday by the Northeast-10 (NE10) Conference, Gisselle Garcia was selected as the NE10 Pitcher of the Week for the eighth time in the 2025 season. This past weekend, the Setters wrapped up their regular season, finishing with a program record 37 wins as Garcia remained a staple of the team's success throughout the entire year.

The Lemon Grove, CA. native had another fantastic week in the circle for No. 17 Pace Softball, tossing 24.2 innings with 45 strikeouts, a 0.57 ERA, and three wins. Garcia's outstanding week in the circle included two separate 15-strikeout performances, which included a streak of 13 consecutive strikeouts.

The senior pitcher is one of the most talented pitchers in the country as she ranks within the top-five in the NCAA DII for earned run average (0.63), strikeouts per seven innings (11.1), shutouts (15), and also hits per seven innings (2.68).

The Blue and Gold will jump into the NE10 Conference Championship this week, representing the conference as the number one seed. Postseason action kicks off on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. with a home meeting versus the eighth-seeded Saint Michael's College Purple Knights.
