GREENWOOD, IN. – Pace University Softball saw four student-athletes recognized by College Sports Communicators on Tuesday afternoon, as Willa Poplawski, Madison Picerno, Alyssa Smart, and Priscilla Del Toro earned CSC Academic All-District honors for the 2025-26 season.
The CSC Academic All-District program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. Academic All-District honorees were also considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot, with first-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America selections scheduled to be announced on June 16.
Poplawski earned the honor after putting together a strong season for the Blue and Gold while holding a 3.60 cumulative GPA. She served as one of Pace's top offensive pieces during the spring and was named Second Team All-Northeast 10 (NE10) Conference as an at-large selection.
Picerno added Academic All-District recognition with a 3.69 GPA. On the field, she provided consistency at third base and earned Second Team All-NE10 honors after another productive season in the Pace lineup.
Smart collected CSC Academic All-District honors with a 3.53 GPA, adding to the Setters' academic recognition following the 2025-26 campaign. Del Toro rounded out the group with a 3.66 GPA, giving Pace four selections on this year's list.
The four honorees highlight Pace Softball's continued commitment to success beyond the field, as the Setters combined strong academic achievement with another competitive season.
