PLEASANTVILLE, NY - #2 Pace Women's Lacrosse sits at 5-0 at the start of their 2025 campaign and freshman,
Marissa Doty, has played a critical role in the Blue and Gold's offense thus far. After the 2-0 week, the Northeast-10 (NE10) announced their newest list of weekly honors and Doty notched her first Rookie of the Week crown.
The Syracuse, NY native finished the week with six goals and one assist, good for seven points. In the 18-4 victory over Franklin Pierce, Doty was tied for first on the team with five points after caging a season-high of four goals and recording one helper. Additionally, she featured a perfect shot on goal percentage while grabbing two ground balls and five draw controls; eight DC's for the week.Â
Women's Lacrosse will be back in action next weekend down in the sunshine state of Florida for a two-game schedule starting with #4 Florida Southern College on Sunday, Mar. 16, at 12:00pm and #1 University of Tampa on Wednesday, Mar. 19, at 12:00pm.
