Pace Athletics Weekend Preview I Mar. 16

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – This weekend, Pace Athletics has baseball, softball, women’s lacrosse, and men’s lacrosse are all in action. Baseball hosts two home games, men’s lacrosse hosts one alongside women’s lacrosse, while softball competes on the road.

The Pace University baseball (6-4) team travels to Garden City, N.Y. to battle Adelphi (6-6) for their first in-conference match-up. The first pitch will be thrown at 12:00 p.m.

Also, at noon on Saturday, the 11th-ranked Pace University men’s lacrosse team (4-0) will take on The College of Saint Rose (4-3) with the opening faceoff set for 12:00 p.m. at Northwell Stadium.

On Saturday, the Pace University softball team (3-1) plays Shippensburg University (9-3) in a doubleheader match-up. Game one will begin at noon, while the first pitch for game two is set for 2:00 p.m.

The number one ranked Pace women’s lacrosse team (5-0) takes on Franklin Pierce (1-3) at home with the opening draw set for 3:30 p.m. at Northwell Stadium.

Sunday at noon, baseball is back in action with another match-up against Adelphi University back at Peter X. Finnerty Field. The first pitch will be thrown at noon.

Softball completes the schedule of games for Pace athletics with a Sunday doubleheader against West Chester University of Pennsylvania. Game one will kick-off at noon, while game two starts at 2:00 p.m.
