MANAHAWKIN, N.J. – In honor of another successful field hockey season, the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) announced the NCAA Division II All-American teams with two Setters earning selections.
Krista Dietz was selected to the All-American first team while
Jenna McCrudden earned second-team honors.
Dietz added to her impressive set of hardware with a first-team selection after posting 20 goals and 19 assists during the 2024 season. The senior forward led the NCAA in assists (19) and assists per game (1.00) while ranking third in goals (20). After earning 2023 East Region Player of the Year, Dietz remained one of the most talented players on the field totaling 59 points to rank second in the NCAA.
McCrudden put together a stellar season for the Blue and Gold earning her second team honors. The senior forward produced 36 points with 13 goals and ten assists ranking seventh among the NCAA for points. McCrudden posted a six-game goal streak and had ten multi-point performances helping the Setters reach 12 wins on the year.
Overall, the dynamic duo shined during the 2024 season, solidifying themselves as two of the best competitors in the country.
