EAST STROUDSBURG, PA. – Pace University Field Hockey hit the road for a tough non-conference match-up on Thursday afternoon, falling 8–0 to No. 4 East Stroudsburg University. The result moves the Setters to 5–7 overall.
The Warriors struck early with two goals in the opening quarter and added two more before halftime to take control.
Despite the challenge, Morgan Strecker stood tall in goal with seven saves, while Molly Paterson, Cadey Mienie, and Feline Rook anchored the defensive unit against the high-powered ESU attack.
Pace generated several opportunities late, recording three shots and four penalty corners in the fourth quarter, including an on-target effort from Carlotta Oschmann. The match marked the Setters' final non-conference game of the regular season.
Pace returns to NE10 action on Tuesday, October 14, traveling to face Assumption University at 7:00 p.m. in Worcester, MA.
