MANSFIELD, Mass. -- Pace sophomore forward
Arianna Stockinger (Cortlandt Manor, N.Y./Putnam Valley) was named NE10 Women's Basketball Player of the Week on Monday, Jan. 9 after in impressive 2-0 road week for the Setters. The Cortlandt Manor, N.Y., native averaged 19.0 poings and 10.5 rebounds for Pace, including a 53.6 shooting percentage from the field.
She led the Setters with back-to-back double-doubles, helping Pace to two more road wins (road record 5-2). Her 23 points at Adelphi was a career-best, to go with 10 rebounds. She also marked career-best efforts with nine field goals at Adelphi and four 3-pointers made. Stockinger added 15 points and 11 rebounds, also a career high, in a win over Le Moyne.
Stockinger and the Setters will be back in action on Tuesday, Jan. 10 for a NE10 contest against American International College. The game tips off at 5:30 p.m. at Goldstein Fitness Center.
It is the first NE10 Player of the Week honor for Stockinger and first for Pace this season.
