WORCESTER, Mass. – Pace University Women's Basketball concluded its regular-season Wednesday evening at Assumption University, competing through early stretches before the host Greyhounds pull away in a 62–47 final. The loss closes Pace's season at 7–20 overall and 3–15 in Northeast 10 play.
Pace established rhythm early behind
Morgan Ryan, who knocked down a pair of three-pointers during an opening surge that allowed the Setters to control tempo in the first quarter.
Claire Fitzpatrick and
Ciera Cevallos added perimeter support as Pace shot efficiently from beyond the arc and carried that momentum into the second period.
Assumption responded by tightening defensively and converting in transition, gradually erasing the early deficit.
Anisa Akinola steadied the offense with a strong finish inside and a timely three-pointer, while
Ciara Collins added a perimeter answer to keep the Setters within reach heading into halftime with the score favoring the home side, 32-26.
The Greyhounds shifted control in the third quarter with a sustained run that built a double-digit cushion. Ryan continued to attack and convert at the line, and Collins pushed tempo in transition, but Assumption maintained separation entering the final period leading, 54-33.
Pace competed to the final whistle. Ryan added a late three-pointer and Collins battled on the glass as the Setters trimmed the margin in the closing minutes, but the host Greyhounds held firm to close out the regular-season finale.
Ryan led Pace with 17 points, including three three-pointers, while Collins contributed seven points and seven rebounds.
Grace Ziogas added six points as the Setters wrapped up the 2025–26 campaign.
The Setters conclude the 2025-2026 season and turn their focus toward continued development heading into next year.
