PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Head coach Claudia Stabile and the Pace University softball program officially announced its 2022 schedule on Friday.

Stabile, who is the longest-tenured active head coach across all NCAA Divisions, enters her 41^st year at the helm of the Pace softball team. 

The 2022 season consists of 24 regular-season doubleheaders before the postseason begins in May.

The new campaign kicks off with four non-conference double-headers in the state of Florida, starting on March 14 against St. Thomas Aquinas College and Slippery Rock University. The following day, Pace faces Shepherd University and Felician University.
 
On March 17, the Setters take on Bloomsburg and Purdue University Northwest, before concluding their time in The Sunshine State on March 18 versus Caldwell and the University of Minnesota Crookston.
 
The team then returns home where the Pace Softball Field will host its first doubleheader of the season on March 24 with a visit from Molloy.
 
The Blue and Gold open NE10 play with a road trip to Southern New Hampshire on March 26, followed by a clash with the reigning conference champion, Saint Anselm Hawks on March 27.
 
Rounding out the month of March, the Setters play host to Mercy and Queens on March 30 and 31 respectively, before another pair of home doubleheaders kick off April with visits from Stonehill (April 2) and Bentley (April 3).
 
From there, Pace starts a nearly two-week-long 10-game road swing that takes the team to Dominican (April 5), AIC (April 6), Assumption (April 9), Bridgeport (April 10), and Southern Connecticut State (April 12).
 
The squad returns to Pleasantville for a 10-game homestand, beginning on April 15 versus St. Michael's, followed by visits from Franklin Pierce (April 16), New Haven (April 20), 2022 coaches' poll top-ranked Adelphi (April 23), and the final home doubleheader of the regular-season, Caldwell on April 24.
 
Rounding out the regular season will be three road matchups against Georgian Court (April 27), Saint Rose (April 29), and Le Moyne (April 30).

The 2022 NE10 Championship Tournament is scheduled for May 3-7.
