Box Score PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Playing in front of their home fans for the first time since 2019, the Pace University women's soccer team was defeated by Saint Michael's College on Saturday by a score of 1-0. The loss shifts the Setters' record to 2-1 this season (0-1, NE10).
The Purple Knights' lone tally of the afternoon came via an own goal from Pace in the 57th minute. Following a hard save by goalkeeper,
Perri Anderson (Mountainville, N.Y./Cornwall Central), the rebound ricocheted off a Setter defender into the back of the net.
The Blue and Gold's offense featured five shots on net, while also putting together a 4-1 margin in corner-kick opportunities—all of which came in the second half.
Anderson finished the game with a season-high four saves in a complete-game effort in net.
