KANSAS CITY, MO. – Pace University Women's Soccer freshman defender Milani Thompson has been selected to the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division II Women's All-East Region Third Team, earning regional distinction after an outstanding debut campaign for the Blue and Gold.

Thompson becomes one of the youngest players in the East Region to receive postseason honors this year, adding to a season that already included Northeast 10 First-Team and All-Rookie Team recognition. The Monroe Township, N.J. native first-year standout started all 18 matches for the Setters, quickly establishing herself as one of the conference's most reliable defenders.

Logging more than 1,600 minutes on the back line, Thompson played a pivotal role in stabilizing the Setters' defensive structure throughout the fall. She also contributed offensively with a goal and an assist, demonstrating her versatility and two-way impact in her first collegiate season.

The honor marks the first time women's soccer earned All-Region recognition since the 2022 season. Thompson's selection reflects both her individual rise and the continued momentum of the program under first-year head coach Brittany Soto, as Pace positions itself for future success.
