PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – The Pace University women's basketball program officially announced its 2021-22 season schedule today. The Setters are ready to play their first regular-season contests since Feb. 28, 2020.
 
"We're very excited about getting back to competing this year!" said head Coach Carrie Seymour. "Our schedule is going to be very challenging, but our team is working hard to prepare for those challenges.  I think we're playing with a little bit of extra energy and drive for our alums that did not get to have a season last year."

The Blue and Gold finished the 2019-20 regular season with a 19-10 record before falling in the first round of the Northeast-10 Conference Championships to Assumption. Pace will look for revenge when the new campaign opens against the very same team it last played 624 days earlier when the Setters travel to face the Greyhounds on Nov. 13.
 
The Setters will kick off their home slate of games on Nov. 20 when American International College visits the Goldstein Fitness Center, followed by a trip to New Haven on Nov. 23. Pace will close out the month of November at home against Caldwell on Nov. 27.
 
Following a home game against Saint Rose on Dec. 1, the Setters will play four consecutive road contests: at Bridgeport (Dec. 3), Adelphi (Dec. 7), Dominican (Dec. 10), and St. Thomas Aquinas (Dec. 12). Pace will return to the comfy confines of Pleasantville for a three-game stretch, hosting Felician on Dec. 18, Staten Island on New Year's Eve, and Southern Connecticut on New Year's Day.
 
In January, the Goldstein Fitness Center will also welcome visits from Le Moyne (Jan. 5), Saint Anselm (Jan. 8), Bentley (Jan. 15), and Franklin Pierce (Jan. 25). Pace will be on the road four times in the first month of 2022: at Assumption (Jan. 11), Stonehill (Jan. 19), Saint Michael's (Jan. 22), and Southern New Hampshire (Jan. 29)

February will see the Setters play three road games when they take on Saint Rose (Feb. 5), SCSU (Feb 8), and AIC (Feb. 19), as well as three home games versus New Haven (Feb 2), Adelphi (Feb. 16), before wrapping up the regular season against Le Moyne on Feb. 22.
